Marine geological and geophysical data were acquired from the eastern Ross Sea continental shelf. The geophysical data includes a large area multibeam swath bathymetry plus chirp and three regional dip-oriented seismic lines in the axis of the basin. Core were collected at sixteen stations in the basin from the outer continental shelf to just north of the Ross Ice Shelf calving front. The core types included Kasten and Piston Core types. Seafloor photographs and video were taken at several of the core stations using the Yoyo camera system.

The working half of cores have been transferred from the AMGRF in Tallahassee to the new repository at Oregon State University. The working half of the cores have been heavily sampled for granulometry and microfossil analyses. The seismic data and photos are the original unprocessed data.
