  • Abstract
    This Level 2 Land Surface product contains directional reflectance properties,albedo(spectral & PAR integrated),FPAR, radiation parameters & terrain-referenced geometric parameters.
  • Purpose
    To characterize bidirectional reflectance properties of terrestrial surface,as a function of space,time and surface type;to study, on a global basis,the magnitude and natural variability in space and time of sunlight absorption and scattering by the earth's surface;to provide improved measures of land surface classification and dynamics in conjunction with MODIS.
