TES/Aura L1B Spectra Special Observation Low Resolution V006

Version 006
  • Abstract
The L1B Low Resolution granule consists of radiometrically calibrated spectra & associated NESR, observed at 0.1 cm-1 resolution for a Special Observation & organized by observed target scene & instrument parameters such as focal plane/filter & pixel ID.
  • Purpose
The L1B Spectra Special Observation Low Resolution file consists of radiometrically calibrated spectra and associated NESR observed at 0.1 cm-1 resolution. These spectra are the input measurements to the Level 2 retrieval algorithm that will produce the L2 Special Observation Data Products. The spectra can be used directly as radiance measurements of the earth and atmosphere.
  • Version Description
New species retrieval products for PAN, OCS and relative humidity. New/updated joint products for TES-OMI O3 and TES-MLS CO. Updated GMAO a priori values. Improved O3 IRK values.
