  • Abstract
    Daily global composite of up-to 15 half-orbit L2_SM_AP soil moisture estimates based on radiometer brightness temperature and radar backscatter measurements acquired by the SMAP radar/radiometer instruments at approximately 6 AM local solar time.
  • Purpose
    The SMAP L3_SM_AP algorithm provides daily global composite of soil moistures based on radiometer and synthetic-aperture radar data on a 9 km grid.
