Description:

ASF's SAR Radiometric Terrain Corrected (RTC) dataset gives terrestrial world-wide coverage; excluding Antarctica, Greenland, Iceland, and Asia north of 60 degrees latitude. Users can analyze radiometry with the effects of topography removed. Topography can be analyzed with the effects of layover and shadow corrected. This SAR product works well with optical Landsat 8.

Description:

This data set, part of the NASA Making Earth System Data Records for Use in Research Environments (MEaSUREs) program, provides maps of Antarctic ice shelves, Antarctic basins, and the Antarctic coastline. The maps are assembled from 2008-2009 ice-front data from the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency's (JAXA) ALOS PALSAR and European Space Agency's ENVISAT ASAR data, acquired during International Polar Years 2007-2009 (IPY); the InSAR-based grounding line data (MEaSUREs Antarctic Grounding Line from Differential Satellite Radar Interferometry), augmented with other grounding line sources; the Antarctic ice velocity map (MEaSUREs InSAR-Based Antarctica Ice Velocity Map); and the Bedmap-2 DEM. Description:

This data set, part of the NASA Making Earth System Data Records for Use in Research Environments (MEaSUREs) program, consists of annual (1 July to 30 June), 1 km resolution maps of ice component velocities for the Antarctic ice sheet. Data are provided for the year 2000-2001 and for each year from 2005 to 2025. Velocities are derived by applying interferometric analysis techniques to synthetic aperture radar (SAR) data acquired by various satellites and sensors and by feature tracking of optical imagery acquired by Landsat-8. This data set was originally titled "MEaSUREs Annual Antarctic Ice Velocity Maps 2005-2017."
