    <skos:definition xml:lang="en">The Rutgers University Coastal Ocean Observation Lab focuses on thebio-physical processes of the coastal ocean. Our lab is constantly involved inresearch projects where operational observatories are used to collect real-timedata for adaptive sampling. We study the coastal waters off New Jersey,Southern New England, the West Florida Shelf, Lake Michigan, as well asinternationally in the Mediterranean.
