    <skos:definition xml:lang="en">The Sentinel-2C is the third satellite in the Sentinel-2 series of Earth-observing spacecraft, which are part of Europe’s Copernicus programme, managed by the European Space Agency (ESA) in collaboration with the European Commission. It is the third flight unit of the Sentinel-2 mission, joining its predecessors Sentinel-2A (2015) and Sentinel-2B (2017). Like its siblings, Sentinel-2C carries a multispectral imager that captures high-resolution optical imagery—spanning land, coastal waters, and inland areas—across 13 spectral bands, with resolutions of 10 m, 20 m, and 60 m and a swath width of around 290 km.</skos:definition>
